Short cut to Yummy Lunch

Butter garlic rice & fried chicken with lentil

Today I have a lot of works to do, so Yaseen helps me out cooking lunch. This delicious rice & chicken with lentil is so quick and easy.

First you want to melt 50 gm of butter in the automatic rice cooker.

Chop half  an onion and add to the butter.

Yaseen sautes the onion until golden brown, and add 2 cloves of garlic (chopped).

Add one cup of rice and 1 1/2 cup of water. Keep the lid on and cook until rice is done.

Combine 500 gm chicken with 1/2 tsp of salt, a little bit of sugar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 eggs, 1 tsp of pepper and 1 tsp of curry powder, and mix well. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes.

Fry until crispy brown.

Cook lentil until soft. Saute shallot and add cooked lentil. Fry for few minutes and it is ready.

Yummy yummy !

Butter garlic rice with fry chicken & lentil

For 4 serving:
For rice
1 cup of rice
50 gm Butter
1/2 Onion chopped
2 cloves Garlic- minced
2 cup water
To cook rice,
Heat the automatic rice cooker; melt butter and sauté onion for until lightly brown.
Add garlic and fry until garlic turn yellow.
Add rice and 2 cup of water and cook until rice is cooked.
For chicken:
500 gm chicken- cut into medium chunks
5 cloves of garlic- bruised
5 Shallot- bruised
½ tsp Salt
1 tbsp Black pepper
1 Egg
1 tsp Curry powder
Oil for fry 
Combine all ingredients together and let it stand for 15-20 minutes.
Heat oil and fry until crispy and cooked.
1/2 cup moong
½ tsp Salt
2 shallots- sliced
1 tbsp oil
Soak lentil over night. Cook it in the pot with 1 1/2 cup of water and salt until cooked and tender.
In another pan sauté shallot until lightly brown. Dump the cooked lentil and mix well. Fry for 1 minute and turn off the heat.
Just squeeze lemon juice over the rice, chicken & lentil before eat or even enjoy it with your favorite ketchup or sauce.
