I want to share on of the easiest and delicious way to prepare noodle. The glossy sticky rice noodle works well with soy sauce and prawn. With the few ingredients you can make the most delicious lunch for the family in about 20 minutes.
Ingredients: For 2-3 serving
100 gm Rice Noodle stick- uncooked
300 gm Prawn- peeled and deveined
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp fish sauce
1/2 onion- sliced
3 cloves of garlic- crushed
1/2 tsp white pepper- crushed
1/2 cup bean sprout
1 spring onion- sliced 2 inches long
2 tbsp oil
Boil 1 1/2 liter of water with a pinch of salt. When it is boiling, add rice noodle and cooked for 1 minute. Drain in running cold water, toss in some peanut oil and keep aside.
Heat the wok over the medium-high heat, add oil and sauté onion and garlic until the onion is soft and the garlic turn light brown.
Add prawn and stir until the prawn curl up and turn pink.
Add cooked rice noodle and shake the pan.
Add soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, fish sauce and bean sprout. Mix well and stir continuously for 2 minutes.
Add spring onion and white pepper turn the heat off and serve.
Even though it is so yummy the way it is, I love add a lot of chili flake and lime juice over it. Try to adjust the taste the way your family likes. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
