Stir Fried Chicken with Ginger

Have you ever try fresh young ginger? Ginger is commonly used in Asian cuisine. Fresh ginger is very aromatic. It gives the dishes lightly heat. Ginger is a natural antibiotic, so it is good for fighting cold. This recipe is wonderful in the cloudy days.

Ingredients:  (4 servings)

300 gm Chicken- cut into small pieces

50 gm Fresh young ginger- sliced into matchstick size

2 green chili- bruised (original recipe use 4 dried red chili)

4 cloves garlic- bruised

1/2 onion- sliced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1 tbsp fish sauce

1 tsp corn flour dissolve in little amount of water

2 tbsp oil

Heat the wok or medium size pan over the medium-high heat.

Add oil and sauté chili and garlic until garlic turns golden brown.

Add chicken, soy sauce, sugar, salt and stir for 5 minutes or until chicken is cook.

Add about 1/4 cup of water and bring to boil.

Add ginger and onion and stir for few second.

Add fish sauce and stir.

Add corn flour liquid and stir quickly to create a lightly thick sauce.

Serve over hot rice with a bowl of chicken broth. It’s very delicious and so healthy.
