I remember when I was in high school, a trip to 7-11 involved a big glass of freeze cold red slurpee. After it turned my tongue and mouth red, and I would run for the second cup- green.
It should be raining by now but it’s still so hot and dry. It’s like summer doesn’t wanna go away just yet. We are thrusty for super cold drink and the think of slurpee just hit my mind.
Slurpee is a fun drink for hot weather; it’s so refreshing and delicious. Somehow it’s great that it’s not raining yet, so I can still play with a lot of summer treats 🙂
Ingredients: (4 servings)
2 cup fresh pineapple
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup club soda
1/2 cup syrup
2 cup crushed ice
Add everything in the blender and blend for a few minutes or until smooth.
My baby is not allow to have soda yet… but I know he sneaked in the kitchen to try some. I even smelled coca cola in his mouth one day. If you wanna try to make slurpee kids’ friendly, then simple remove soda from the recipe.
Nice a beautiful Monday,
