Kinky Pomegranate Soda

What’s wrong with me? I can’t remember my Anniversary. We missed it every year. Also, it is so weird that I have my internal calendar register 17th September as my Anniversary instead of the real date, 10th September. It is so funny that I can’t be upsetting about it. Anyway, we decided to declare 17th September to be our Anniversary this year. Just this year! And next year it is going to be on the real date (I hope). I have already put up the reminder on my forehead.

Ok, so it’s our Anniversary today 🙂 Our 6th 🙂

One frustrating thing about Anniversary is getting a present for each other. We have no time to looking for anything so we decided to go to book store, I bought a book for him and he bought a book for me. The theme was supposed to be romantic and love, but we came out with some wolf fantasy and management book instead. Nothing was what we’ve planned, but we just looked at each other and laughed.

Do you like Pomegranate? I love it. The beautiful juicy rubies clustered inside the glossy pinky fruit, while opening the deep red juice splashed over your hand and face. Every red gems break a sassy sweetness into your mouth. It is such a sexy and exotic fruit… perfect for our anniversary celebration.

Pomegranate soda is really simple to make. It is best if you extract the juice from the fruit by yourself. Opening up pomegranate could be a really messy business, so handle the gentle juicy gems gently. I briskly ground the pomegranate gem in food processor for a quick second and strained the juice through the fine strainer. Pomegranate juice is very refreshing and healthy. We usually added some ice and drank it right away. Mixing pomegranate juice with soda added the sparkling excitement we’re looking for. It was so cool and fresh.

Kinky Pomegranate Soda

1 1/2 cup fresh pomegranate juice (extracting from pomegranate arils)

1 1/2 cup sweeten soda

Ice for serving

Preparation

Mix pomegranate juice with sweeten soda and stir gently. Serve chill with some ice.

We had this kinky pomegranate soda after our anniversary shopping at the book store. The sparkling, deep pink soda was so frizzy, bubbly, and refreshing. It had a perfect and modest sweetness, and the grassy- earthy taste of pomegranate lingered in every sip. The fainted fruity sourness slightly tickled our tongues. My husband said it was amazing and perfect for this special day.

Have a wonderful day,
Tes
