15 Minutes Stir Fried Minced Chicken

“I’m in big trouble”, I talked to myself as I tasted a sipping hot thing on the tip of my wooden spoon. A pinch of white pepper dust finally dropped in the wok. It made that minced chicken looked more irresistible. I know that my one of my New Years Resolutions was to lose 15 pounds. I think at the end of the year it will come to the same old joke. I lose 15 pounds could mean losing 15 British pounds which is easier, I suppose.

Now looking at the second bowl of stir fried minced chicken with hot rice, I felt no guilty whatsoever. The chicken was super moist and flavourful. Minced chicken cooked really easily and it absorbed delicious flavour of the sauce so nicely. I also threw in some green bell peppers for that pungent freshness.

15 Minutes Stir Fried Minced Chicken

Ingredients: (2 Servings)

200 gm minced chicken

4 cloves garlic- minced

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1/2 tsp sugar

1 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tbsp fish sauce

1/2 tsp ground white pepper

1 green bell pepper- sliced

1 tbsp oil


  1. Heat oil in the wok and sauté garlic until aromatic.
  2. Add chicken, oyster sauce, sugar, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Stir fry for a few minutes. Add about 1/2 cup of water and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add sliced bell peppers and stir fry for another minute.
  4. Add ground white pepper. Check the seasoning. Serve hot with some rice.

At 9.30 pm I had the third bowl of the stir fried minced chicken with rice. I also added a sizzling hot and greasy fried egg on top of it. It was divine. Now if I don’t update any recipe for a few days, please know that I live on salad and go jogging 🙂
