Happy New Year, my dear readers and friends. It has been a long journey. I can’t believe how far we had come and how much we had grown in this amazing 4 years. We made friends and shared beautiful memories, recipes and travel stories. And we’re glad that you joined in and shared your comments, supports, emails and tales.
Last year was a rollercoaster ride for us. We had been to so many places which I yet write about them. This past few months I haven’t been able to post a lot of recipes. I don’t know where all the time went, but it’s just not enough to complete things I wanted to do in 2013.
I hope you all are having a good time wherever you are right now.
Today, I made a simple breakfast. Strawberries reduction with thyme on wholegrain bread, eggs and fruits with hot cocoa on the side. It’s a part of my New Year resolution to eat clean and stay healthy. So you will see a lot of gorgeous healthy recipes from me this year. I also want to learn driving. Hehe, some of you might not know that I don’t know how to drive. It’s blasphemy for someone who loves road tripping to not know how to drive. Sadik always does all the drive, and he loves it, but it’s time for me to take a steer. Driving was my last year resolution that I couldn’t do. This year I’m serious about it. Very serious. I’m going to driving school this month.
This year we are going to be busy bees… so check out what we have in mind for Tes at Home.
Shivaji Trail Series
We will be working on Shivaji Maharaja Trails, trekking to the forts he built and concurred. That’s over 200 forts. We will share our trekking schedule, routes and maps later.
The Poison Spoon
I’m picking up my old novel project, the Poison Spoon, dusting and rewriting it. It’s inspired by food and travel adventures of this blog. I desperately want this to work so we can fund our next adventure.
We want to make it to Turkey this August. Still working on the fund which will come from selling novels and photographs from our travels, and our sponsors.
We are launching a photography website to sell our travel photographs and to accept all kind of travelling assignments.
Tes at Home in 2014 will be concentrating on health. We will cook healthier, eating clean and organic. We will talk about natural products and how to choose what is good for you.
We are working on expanding our website and trying something on youtube. A lot travelling and cooking videos will be on there. We are currently editing the road trip videos right now.
Thanks for being a part of our blog so far and see you in 2014.
