At Chili’s Grill and Bar, there is everything for everyone. It’s true. Chili’s has one of the most vibrant menus. They have so many colorful varieties of beverages from amazing cocktails, refreshing mocktails to yummy milkshakes. The decor is casual and fun. It’s a perfect place to hangout with friends and family. And that’s why I love this place so much. One of Chili’s outlets is located at Phoenix Market City, Pune. We are going there often so Chili’s is one of the place we do lunch and hangout.
I was happy to find out that Chili’s Food Festival are now running from 3rd to 20th March. The festival offers more new dishes and all time favorite signature dishes with amazingly fresh and bold flavors, meaty yummy dishes to some of the vegetarian delights. Pune Foodiez were invited to kick off nationwide Chili’s Food Festival, and we had a great time.
Presidente Margarita is the first and foremost chef recommended drink. There are different kind of Mojitos.
I took a sip of Kiwi Mojitos, and it was great. Very sweet and not too strong.
But since I don’t drink anything with alcohol, I tried New Blue Pacific Mocktail and Blackberry Ice Tea. New Blue Pacific was tangy and fresh. So delicious.
I adored Blackberry ice Tea. It’s very sweet and refreshing. If you love to indulge, smoothies are the way to do it at Chili’s. Banana and Raspberry Milkshake is a must try.
Bottomless Tostada Chips were nice and crispy. The salsa that came along with them was fresh and flavorful.
Bold Calamari was a little salty for my taste. But the calamari was tender with a lovely hint of peppercorn and roasted jalapeno. It went well with the cilantro ranch. Wings over Buffalo was tangy, spicy and addictive. I can always devour more of them.
In the awesome Triple Dippers, we had Chicken Crispers, Big Mouth Bites (Buffalo meat mini burgers) and Boneless Chicken Wings. They were served with 3 types of dips. I love them all, but Chicken Crispers stole my heart.
For vegetarian, there are wide choices of munchies like Paneer Bites, Texas Cheese Poppers, Fried Paneer Quesadilla Bites, Southwestern Rolls. Texas Cheese Poppers were fabulous. They are crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside. And Southwestern Rolls was just amazing as well.
Terlingua Chili was rich and robust. It’s slow cooked buffalo meat with onion and chilies, topped with cheeses. It’s perfectly seasoned and melting. We licked the bowl clean.
For main course, we had Big Mouth Bacon Burgers. It got juicy buffalo meat patty and smoked bacon in it with generous amount of cheese and mayonnaise drenching all over. I didn’t try this, but it was sworn by other foodies that they’re juicy and delicious.
I love Orange Habanero Salmon. It’s savory sweet, and the salmon has a lovely crispy on the outside, giving a nice texture to it. I also loved rice and vegetable on the side. They went so well with it.
Mushroom Jack Chicken Fajitas came out sizzling hot with Jack Cheese melting all over. The chicken is perfectly cooked and covered in juicy saute mushroom. The original version has bacon in it so the chef made another one for me without it. The fajitas were served with warm tortillas, house-made pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. I absolutely loved the bites.
Famous Baby Back Ribs was another one of chef recommended dishes. It’s the perfection of baby back ribs smeared in BBQ sauce served with fries and corn on the cobs.
Fire-Grilled Steak was quite good, too, though I wished the steak could be juicier. As buffalo tenderloin was used, the chef suggested us to have it well-done while otherwise we love our steaks medium rare. Having said that, the flavor was out there. The Demi Glaze Sauce was fantastic. The dish was served with fries and garlic toast. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the fries at Chili’s are the best. They’re not, crispy and perfect.
Crispy Honey Chipotle Chicken Crispers are massive pieces of crispy chicken strips tossed in honey chipotle sauce. It’s sticky and sweet with a little kick of Chipotle to tease your palate. The dish was served with fries and corn on the cob.
Bacon Ranch Quesadillas are citrus garlic marinated chicken with mixed cheese, smoked bacon and ranch in toasted tortillas. They are served with pico de gallo, sour cream, rice and beans.
I’m forever in love Molten Chocolate Lava Cake at Chili’s. In fact, it’s the only thing I order as dessert whenever we go there. I mean how can you ever get over warm chocolate cake with hot fudge filling, topped with vanilla ice-cream in chocolate shell. It was so good, I almost died! Everytime!
For the first time, I tried Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie, and I couldn’t believe I had never ordered it before. The chewy chocolate chips and walnuts bars has a nice crunch and lovely texture. It’s topped with vanilla ice-cream, hot fudge and caramel. Do I need to say more? That’s heaven on the plate. I so loved it.
Chili’s Food Fest is now running until 20th March. During the festival, you can enjoy 15% off from the selected dishes in the menu. Visit the outlets and experience this exciting gastronomic adventure and try something new. You will know what I’m talking about.
