I hope you’re not bored of my stir fried dishes because I have a thousand of them lining up to post on my blog. 70% of cooking techniques used in my kitchen is stir frying. It’s quick, good for retaining nutrients and flavors of the ingredients. I stir fry something everyday. Combining proteins and vegetables is my favorite way stir frying. I love eating a balance meal; mixing carbohydrates with proteins and vegetables in one plate. The easiest way is to cook rice or noodle and top them with stir fried any kind of proteins with vegetables.
Here is Stir Fried Chicken with Asparagus I made today. Asparagus is versatile vegetable, and there are many ways to stir fry it. It’s good with just garlic and oyster sauce; it works well with seafood or even marinated meat. With chicken, it’s simple and perfect. This dish is so easy. You can whip this up in 10 minutes.
Stir Fried Chicken with Asparagus
200 gm chicken- sliced
300 gm asparagus- sliced
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground white pepper
1 tbsp oil
1. Heat oil in the pan over the medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir until aromatic.
2. Add chicken and cook until the outside turn white.
3. Add tomato, onion and asparagus. Season with light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar. Cook further until the vegetable is soft.
4. Add white pepper, check the seasoning and serve with hot rice.
