What comes to your mind when you think of a perfect brunch? I imagine a lavish spread of food, wooden tables in an outdoor area with warm kisses of the sun, the smell of ripe fruits and exotic spices, the music, the laughers, and maybe flowers on the side. So when I walked into “Farmer to Table” Sunday Brunner at JW Marriott, I walked into my dream brunch.
The brunch area was set up in the alfresco area of the property covered by thick canopy of trees. There were live-cooking counters, fresh ingredients from the farms, fresh juice counters, chilled cocktails, freshly baked bread, bbq, salad bar, and colorful desserts.
The brunch spread was beautiful and abundant. Pick a glass of fresh juice for your health. It’s loaded with vitamins and minerals.
There were choices of salads, cold meats, and lovely light produce to be mixed in your colorful plate of salad.
At Pan Asian Station, hot dim sums were flying off the steamer, fresh greens were tossed in the wok, and other delightful Asian dishes were served with steamed rice or stir fried noodle.
Fresh Fruit Cocktail in the jars looked refreshing, but since I don’t drink alcohol, I had to skip it.
Now move on to the continental section. The gorgeous pieces of kingfish were sweet and loaded with freshness. There were also lamb shanks, roasted vegetables, humble baby potatoes and live-counter for pasta on the side. Rosemary Crusted Fried Chicken was hot and crispy. Jerk Chicken was succulent and pungent. These were two of my favorite dishes at Brunner.
If you wanted something spicy and full of flavor, Goan Fish Curry and other Indian dishes are ready to be served with soft naans.
Picking desserts could be a tough job here. Everything looked delicious that day. I tried Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Brownies, and Berries Chiffon Cake. They were luscious. The cheesecake especially…. It was sinful.
