Oriental Spaghetti

When I have leftover spaghetti in the fridge, I usually do something quick with it in the morning. It may sounds strange to have spaghetti for breakfast, but it’s not something new to me. I have heavy breakfast often. Different types of noodle are perfect for a hearty breakfast dishes. This is a fusion dish so I’m sorry in advance that I butchered up the recipe again 😛

A simple Oriental Spaghetti is so easy to make. It takes probably 10 minutes to make. I love the flavor of hoisin sauce in this dish. It’s sweet and rich, coating the spaghetti so well. I made this with chicken, but you can definitely try it with any kind of protein you like.

4 cups cooked spaghetti

100 gm chicken- sliced

4 cups sliced Chinese cabbage

2 Spring onion-sliced

3 green peppers- sliced

1 tbsp chopped garlic

1 tbsp oil

2 tbsp hoisin sauce

1 tbsp light soy sauce

½ tsp ground white pepper

Heat oil in a large pan using high heat; add garlic and green peppers, and stir until aromatic.

Add chicken and stir for 2 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

Add Chinese cabbage and spring onion. Stir a little.

Season with hoisin sauce and light soy sauce, and stir further until the veggies become soft.

Add spaghetti and stir well.

Add white pepper, check the seasoning, and serve hot.
