Banana and Honey Granola

Oh I haven’t forgotten about my healthy phase which is a good thing. I am trying my best to lose some weight as well as to keep my body strong and happy. I still go out and eat junk food, but much less often as I used to. I want to live in the moment and be conscious about what I’m doing to my body at the same time.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so it’s unfortunate that many times, I find myself too busy for eat it. After waking my body up with a strong cup of black coffee, I need something nourishing to give me good energy throughout the day. A lot of time, I rely on some granola bars. I always look for something that is sugar-free and organic, but sadly most of the products like that are quite pricey here. So it’s best to make it at home.

I love bananas. I use organic honey to give a hint of sweet in my granola. I also power up my breakfast crunch with sunflower seeds and flax seeds. It’s super easy to make. It’s super healthy, and I promise it will make you healthy and happy at the same time.

Banana and Honey Granola


1 ¼ cup rolled oat

4 tbsp sunflower seeds

2 tbsp flax seeds

2 tbsp honey

2 bananas


In a large bowl, mash banana with a fork. Add honey and stir well.

Add rolled oat, sunflower seeds and flax seeds. Stir until combine.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 50 minutes or until your granola is crispy and quite dry.

Remove from the oven and let it cool. Enjoy!
